Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact details can be found in the “Controller” section of this privacy policy.
Your data is collected, on the one hand, when you provide it to us, e.g. via the contact form or the appointment booking tool. Other data is collected automatically when you visit the website, by our IT systems or the systems of our hosting provider (e.g. internet browser, operating system, time of page access).
Some data is collected to ensure the website is provided without errors. Other data (e.g. from the contact form or the appointment booking tool) is used to get in touch with you and process your enquiry.
You have the right, at any time, to obtain information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you may revoke this consent at any time with future effect. This website is hosted externally. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the servers of the hosting provider. This may primarily include IP addresses, contact enquiries, meta and communication data, as well as other data generated via a website.
External hosting is carried out for the purpose of providing our online offering in a secure, fast and efficient manner (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest). The hosting provider processes your data only to the extent necessary to fulfil its contractual obligations and follows our instructions with respect to this data. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been, or will be, concluded with the hosting provider.
We use IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, as our hosting provider. Data processing takes place exclusively on servers located within the European Union or the European Economic Area. No transfer of your data to third countries outside the EU/EEA takes place in this context.
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not combined with data from other sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of the website).
If you send me enquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the enquiry form – including the contact details you provide there – will be stored by me for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. I will not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, if your enquiry relates to the initiation of an advisory engagement, or otherwise on the basis of my legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to me (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The data you enter in the contact form remains with me until you ask me to delete it, revoke your consent, or the purpose for storing it no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
This website integrates a booking tool provided by Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Suite 1000, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA ("Calendly"), through which you can book a consultation appointment with me directly. The booking form is embedded directly into my website (iframe); a connection to Calendly's servers may already be established when the page loads.
When booking an appointment, Calendly processes the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, and any further information you voluntarily provide), as well as technical data such as your IP address. This data is required to carry out the appointment booking and to notify me of it.
The use of Calendly is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of a consultation appointment) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in straightforward, efficient appointment scheduling). Where data is transferred to the United States in this context, Calendly states that it relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR as appropriate safeguards. For consultations and meetings with clients, I use the conferencing tools Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The providers are Zoom Video Communications, Inc., 55 Almaden Boulevard, 6th Floor, San Jose, CA 95113, USA, and Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland.
When using these tools, data is processed that you provide in order to participate (e.g. name, email address), meeting metadata (start, end, duration, number of participants), and technical data (e.g. IP address, device and connection data). If content is exchanged during the meeting (e.g. chat messages, shared files), this may also be processed on the providers' servers.
In individual cases – on a situational basis, not by default – I use the AI-based note-taking and summary feature integrated into Zoom or Microsoft Teams (e.g. automatic transcription or meeting summary). Where this feature is used, I inform meeting participants of this in advance. The content generated by this feature (transcripts, summaries) is used by me to follow up on the meeting and may also be processed by the respective provider in connection with delivering the feature.
The legal basis for using the conferencing tools is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where the meeting serves to initiate or carry out an advisory engagement, and otherwise my legitimate interest in simple, location-independent communication (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where the AI note-taking feature is used, this is based on the participants' informed consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or my legitimate interest in reliable meeting documentation, provided no objection is raised.

This website uses so-called Mulish Premium Fonts for the uniform display of fonts. The Mulish Premium Fonts are installed locally on my hosting provider's server. No connection to Google's servers is established in this context.
This website does not use cookies for analytics, tracking or advertising purposes. No analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Matomo) are used. To the extent that technically necessary cookies are set as part of the embedded third-party services (Calendly, Zoom, Microsoft Teams), these serve solely to ensure the functionality of the respective application.
Personal data is disclosed only to the service providers named in this privacy policy and to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of a contract, required by law, or based on your explicit consent. Personal data is not sold or rented out.

For security reasons, and to protect the transmission of confidential content such as enquiries submitted via the contact form or the appointment booking tool, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.
Unless a more specific retention period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with me until the purpose for processing it no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent, your data will be deleted unless there are other legally permissible grounds for further storage (e.g. commercial and tax law retention obligations under Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) or Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO)).
